Winnipeg National Bank Challenger - August 22 - August 30

During the tournament, courts will not be available until matches are completed each day. The number of available courts will increase as the tournament progresses. Courts will typically be available in the evenings except for 2 nights of private functions. Please call the Club for court availability.

Monday, August 24 - Pro-Am Tournament. Play with a Pro! Spend an evening of tennis play with a Pro player from the tournament. Fee is $100 and includes dinner and tennis play. For more information, email Lillian Wong at communications@wltc.ca. Limited courts will be available for Members in the evening.

Wednesday, August 26 - Private Function. Tournament match at 6:00 PM. Limited courts will be available for Members in the evening.

All tennis programs, leagues and clinics are cancelled from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, August 30. Programs will resume Monday, August 31.

To accommodate our Members, we have a reciprocal agreement withKildonan Tennis Club (KTC) to allow WLTC Members to play at KTC during this tournament. To be eligible to play you must wear your shoe tag.

Court availability is reduced this week due to court resurfacing being done on courts 1 & 2. Check out the schedule below for the new court availability hours.

Here is the Timeline and court allocations for KTC remaining 3 courts(3-5):
1. Aug 27 TODAY Thursday
- 800am-400pm-Members can use 3 courts 
- 400pm-530pm- NO MEMBER USE- JUNIOR TEAM LESSONS ON ALL 3 COURTS
- 530pm-close- Likely all 5 courts but court 1 and 2 baselines may have patching
-Private lessons may take 1 court throughout the day on court 5
2. Aug 28 FRIDAY
- Work Continues on court 1 and 2
- 800am-1100pm-Members can use 3 courts 
-Private lessons may take 1 court throughout the day on court 5
3. Aug 29 SATURDAY
- Work Continues on court 1 and 2. Lines to be laid around 500pm
- 800am-200pm-Members can use 3 courts 
- 200pm-330pm- NO MEMBER USE- JUNIOR TEAM LESSONS ON ALL 3 COURTS
- 330pm-1100pm-Members can use 3 courts 
-Private lessons may take 1 court throughout the day on court 5
4. Aug 30 SUNDAY
- Court 1 and 2 CAN NOT BE USED AS THEY MUST CURE FOR AT LEAST 1 DAY
- 800am-1100pm-Members can use 3 courts 
-Private lessons may take 1 court throughout the day on court 5
5. Aug 31 MONDAY
-ALL 5 COURTS BACK IN ACTION(WEATHER PERMITTING)
6. Sept 1-13
- No interruptions and Club championship Runs August 8-13
7. Sept 14
Courts 3-5 to begin Resurfacing- Details TBA
